For nearly a decade, Show How Studio was the Fox Valley’s premiere performing arts training studio. Show How provided private voice, acting and dance lessons, in-person and online dance classes. Corrie and Steve served on numerous area theater production teams, providing choreography, acting and singing coaching. They provided workshops, consultation and adjudication for the Fox Cities PAC Center Stage High School Theater Program. They’ve performed in professional and amateur regional theater, and have written two professional musicals.

Our Instructors
Steve Kovacs
Steve Kovacs attended The Miami University (in Ohio) where he graduated with a degree in Music Education. He taught general music, choral music, show choir and voice lessons during a twelve-year teaching career in New Jersey and Wisconsin. He’s directed, music directed and taught singing and acting in the Fox Cities, and provided workshops for the Fox Cities PAC Center Stage Awards. He’s the co-author of two professional musicals, We Like It Where? and Not Even Remotely. Steve has a certificate in Instructional Design from University of Wisconsin-Stout and applies adult learning theory to Show How’s business presentation services.
Steve – I just finished my first week of classes, and I just wanted to thank you for everything you have taught me. In my Acting 1 class, we spent 2 hours talking about tactics and beats, and I could answer a lot of the questions because of you.
Corrie Beula Kovacs
Corrie Beula Kovacs graduated with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Millikin University. She moved to New York City where she earned two Broadway tour credits and found work in musicals, dramatic and comedic plays, revues, workshops and television commercials. Corrie has choreographed, performed and taught voice lessons with a focus on musical theatre technique and storytelling. She provides small business consulting in the Community Development Financial Institution space and earned her MBA in June of 2024.
Corrie gave me my first acting instruction and in just a few sessions we rejuvenated my college audition monologues. The thing that makes her so effective is how she helps you apply your own experiences to make the moments believable.
